Making Room

A poem about exchanging pain for Jesus

in the stillness
i hear the wrestling of you
the echo of my heart
touches your very being
i breathe in your presence
then I exhale my pain
with every exchange 
i become lighter 
releasing the weight
making more room for
your spirit to dwell in me
